People seek therapy for many reasons – relationship issues, anxiety and depression, creative blocks, or simply a sense that they are not headed in the right direction with their lives. Ultimately, they come to therapy to effect a change in their lives and get “unstuck.”
As a psychotherapist, I work with you to identify the issues that keep you from living the life you want. You may appear outwardly successful, but inside you may have feelings of worthlessness, uncertainty about relationships, anger and depression, or long-held beliefs that no longer sustain you. Therapy can be painful and challenging at times, but deep healing and lasting change can occur.
I welcome adults of all ages in my practice and deal with issues including:
- Life transitions such as changing careers, choosing to have children or not, marriage and divorce, and mid-life issues
- Parenting
- Infertility/adoption
- Managing depression and anxiety
- Self esteem and self worth
- Relationships
- Cross-cultural challenges
- Healing from grief, loss, abuse or trauma
- Balancing work, home, and personal interests
- Career-related stress and challenges
